Take a look at some of my recent work.
Before beginning any project I will always spend time doing research to get a better understanding of the people who will be using the product and what specific needs they may have. This may include conducting user surveys or developing personas.
In order to validate initial concepts I start with sketching. From there I will use various levels of prototyping to validate the interactions and flow. The fidelity of prototype will depend on the stage of the project. This keeps the process more lean and agile.
The best way to measure the success of the design is through data, analytics, and by conducting user testing sessions. I have a variety of tools that I use to gather data and have experience leading and conducting user testing sessions.
“I have really appreciated getting to know this talented designer at Leo Burnett. Dave is a humble person who truly embodies the spirit of “Stay foolish, stay hungry”. He loves to explore different possibilities in interaction design and he has extensive and varied work experience with many agencies. When I worked with him, I always appreciated and enjoyed his designs when he walked me through all the flows, wireframes and prototypes that he created. His work is always thoughtful and inspiring and he can always find delightful details to improve the user’s experience of digital products.”- Kevin Wang
“We were working on a pro-bono project at Leo Burnett when David was brought on. This was a unique project but he jumped right in. He was able to understand the requirements and User flows which he translated into a working Prototype. Not only does he have a great UX skill set, he has that Creative eye as well. He’s one of the nicest most collaborative people I’ve ever worked with and anyone who has the chance to work with him won’t be disappointed!”- Mia Tsou
“David is going to be a UX rock star. This guy is going to do big things in the near future and is a sponge for anything relating to user experience. As an intern at Space150, I have seen him do things with prototyping techniques and information architecture that Senior UX Designers should be envious of. I know I am. He is wise beyond his years and understands extremely intelligent concepts around cognitive science, psychology and human-computer behaviors. He’s an awesome guy to work with and I hope we will be on the same team for many years.”- Jon Hadden
